Description
Harken Cleat Top. Used to guide rope through the bottom of a harken cleat. Can also be applied to some Ronstan Cleats, although this is not recommended. Multiple colours available.
Product Information
- As an attachment to Harken cleats. These are used to ensure that when you uncleat rope from a Harken Cleat, then the rope stays close enough to the jaws of the cleat, that when the rope is pulled back on, you can easily re-cleat the rope.
- Nylon, Plastic (100%)
- These are more fragile than expected. If rope is consistent rubbing of the piece (which is not what is was designed for), they have been known to wear and eventually break. Ensure that your cleats are at the correct angles, to avoid consistent rubbing on the 'cleat top'.
