Marlow Shock Cord is the best shock cord on the market. With high elasticity, natural rubber provides a minimum 100% stretch with constant elongation characteristics. Polyester cover is tough and UV resistant offering good abrasion resistance.

- Marlow Shock Cord is most common used for the trapeze line. It's incredible stretch characteristics mean that it can easily be stretched from the bow all the way to the stern, which is essential for a trapeze shock cord.
- Core - Natural rubber
- Cover - Polyester (continuous filament high or medium tenacity Polyester)

- Similar to most shock cords, Marlow shock cord is less resistant to abrasion than regular rope. Avoid having Marlow Shock Cord rubbing across coarse surfaces, as over time this will likely cause the cover to fray and the rope the brake.
