Description

Liros Shock Cord is high-elasticity shock cord with the best in stretch characteristics. Braided out of abrasion resistant Polyester, making it very enduring. Compared to other shock cords, Liros Shock Cord is able to stretch far. The other side to this, is that the 'pull back from the bungee is less than other Shock Cords. This makes Liros Shock Cord very good for applications where you want something to return to it's original stretch, however needs light and easy extension when stretched.

- Liros Shock Cord 4mm is commonly used for trapeze line Shock Cord. However we reccomend you use this shock cord to pull ropes back into the boat, such as the 49er mainsheet takeup.

- Liros Shock Cord is resistant to abrasion, however like most shock cords it does not share the same abrasion resistance as most ropes, knowing this, avoid having your Liros Shock Cord be continuously rubbing against start objects on your boat, as this could cause it's cover to break.
